Excursions: Horseback riding
The following horseback riding possibilities are offered nearby: Rancho La Merced (approx. 6 km north of Finca Bavaria)Rancho La Merced is a 500 ha working cattle ranch and offers different horseback riding tours: Half day tour "Beach or Rainforest" or "Cowboy for a day" Don Lulo's (from Dominical approx. 10 km in direction of San Isidro)Each morning at 8 a.m. Don Lulo offers a horseback riding tour to the Nauyaca waterfalls: after 45 min there is a "tico"-style breakfast at Don Lulo's house, then you continue to the spektakular waterfalls (150 ft. and 65 ft.) above a 20 ft. deep pool with 3.000 sq.ft. of surface area. On the way back a lunch will be served at Don Lulo's house. |
