Excursions: Waterfalls

  • The closest waterfalls are located directly on the premises of Finca Bavaria.
  • In Uvita (5 km north of Finca Bavaria) another waterfall is recommended. In Uvita, just follow the sign "catarata". At the entrance to the waterfall there is a small restaurant, managed by the two Germans Noah and Benni. Admission fee 300 Colones. Some hundred meters further uphill there is a natural swimming pool.
  • The Nauyaca waterfalls from Dominical in direction of San Isidro can be visited best by horseback riding tour.
  • Further waterfalls are located near Dominicalito and Ojochal.
